Go ahead and try it with a few of the pages, then link me to them so I can see what you have in mind. If they look good then we can go ahead after that and use the template for all pages. Ideally I want to eventually put the entire wiki into one format all across the board. I just haven't had time (nor skill) to learn how to do it myself. So yeah, go ahead and try it on a few and show me what you got. ^_^
I was on the fence on those. If we do add them as individuals, we would also need to do so for the Soundwave that came with Stealth Bumblebee (2012), The Optimus Prime truck that came with the Autobot Command Center, and the G1 Megatron gun accessory. If characters are going to continue to be represented in this fashion, then I say yes, let's go for it. What say you?
I say yes, specially as the Optimus nontransforming truck Optimus Prime Dino Hauler is also included in the Optimus page (I don't remember if it was myself who added it months ago), and the Soundwave from Stealth Bumblebee even gets an implicit nod in the Metrotitan strip from the webcomic, when the Decepticons mention they have a spy right after the radio Soundwave appeared.
Besides, the Dinobots had their own articles back when they only had buildable dino versions, way before the reveal of their robot mode Custom Kreons.
I was just trying to add "aka Dreadwind" to Dreadwing at the Transformers checklist table, but when I did, it seems I ruined the table. I undid my change but the table isn't restored, so I guessed it was better to tell you what happened to see what can be done about it.
No problem, I'll take a look and see what I can do. The wiki has had a habit of doing stupid things like that lately, or freezing up entirely. I'm not really sure what that's about, but hopefully it doesn't get worse.
I really want to become one on this wiki because I think I could really shape up the wiki including css and mediawiki pages. I'm an admin on 5 other wikis and I can ensure you that I am experienced. I really know how to mange template and am really good at working with rich text editing. And am very familiar with all the special pages I just want to make this wiki great and I want to help the community.

I'm really good with transformers stuff. I saw g1 and all the others, the comics the movies etc. so I can defintely contribute to meadia realted things. Hopefully I can prove my self worthy. I'm more than meets the eye. :)
That's great. I too am thoroughly knowledgeable when it comes to Transformers, especially with the heritage brands such as Generation 1. I would ask though that the focus remain on the Kre-O products specifically, and keeping all information relevant to the building sets or figures discussed in the articles. Please keep any additional information minimal, as that's what other wiki's are for, such as the tfwiki. For instance, you could say "this minifigure/set was based on this characters appearance as seen in Issue 7, or in season 8 episode 93, etc..."

Ok thank you. And unrelated question. Have you seen age of extinction?
Is it allowed to post general info of the characters the Kreons are based on? For example mentioning that Destro is a weapons dealer and the boyfriend of the Baroness, or that Kamakura is a Crimson Guard's son and Snake-Eyes' apprentice, or that Nightbeat is a detective.
I would prefer that any information pertaining to Kre-O characters be taken from Kre-O specific source material as a base. HOWEVER, if you wish to include such things (Like Flint and Lady Jay having a daughter who grew up to be the Marissa Fairbourne of E.D.C. in Transformers G1 Season 3), that you mention where the information is from. In this example, we use the fact that her last name is Fairbourne, we see an aged man resembling Flint in TF:Season 3 talking to Marissa who has the same voice actor and voice as Flint from G.I. Joe. But yeah if the information isn't from a Kre-O specific source, please point out where it is from.
Where exactly are you looking? I would say "Dark Energon Weapon" being right in the instructions and being in the actual title of the file (it shows up as "QUEST FOR ENERGON™ DARK ENERGON™ weapon!") as well as being called exactly that in the product descriptions of other items (such as Stealth Bumblebee ) all count as Hasbro officially naming it. A filename is not remotely the same as the name of the document or the thing it describes and should never be assumed to be such; the filename for the CityVille Invasion Cemetery Heist Set is "AAEFCB8A50569047F5EEA419BF0CFE9B".
I am referring to all the places where it is specifically called a "Dark Energon weapon". Yes, Dark Energon is trademarked. That doesn't mean it isn't part of the name of the thing. Indeed, that element being trademarked lends even more credence to that being the proper name for it, even if it wasn't for the fact that the promotional materials all call it by that name.
I'm talking with a lady now on HCS... this may take a while. She didn't know, her supervisor didn't know, she's contacting a lead now. ^_^ Almost seems as though Hasbro isn't familiar with their own brand.
Thanks for getting in touch with them. Yeah, HCS, Kre-O, and the other departments have some crossed wires; that's part of why the Ripclaw Strike set has so little resemblance to the Ripclaw transforing action figure (also, some of the folks in charge at the Kre-O division actually believed the character was male, contrary to the intent of the designers). I appreciate the note you made on the page, but I'd advise maintaining a more neutral or formal tone for the actual articles (talking like this in the comments and blogs and so on is ok, though). Being fun and humorous is one thing, but right now that section of the article kind of looks more like a personal website or forum post than a wiki article.
I've already changed back the ones that you altered. It is my strong opinion that articles should reflect the official name of an item whenever possible. If there is another name by which something is known that is not the official name on the box or other promotional materials, then it ought to be provided as a redirect; if there are two items of the same name, then they should have a parenthetical title indicating which item is which and a disambiguation page should be made. Items with unique names should not have parentheses in their title unless the item's official name actually includes them. This is the policy of numerous other wikis, including the Transformers Wiki and Wikipedia, and due to the reputation of those wikis, I believe we should strive to imitate them where relevant.
Yep! Hasbro just made it really hard to find them. I think they were actually on the US Kre-O website for a while, but then disappeared somewhere... I found them on the Taiwanese Kre-O site after running a Google search.
