(Block o Mamore! Autobot Shutsudō!)
|First published||August 2013|
The first episode of Takara Tomy's Transformers Webcomic: Megatron demands that the people of Earth hand over all their blocks, threatening them with Mega-Megatron. The Autobots arrive to defend humanity, using the very blocks that Mega-Megatron stole to build a jail cell for the giant Decepticon. But Optimus's building skills aren't up to code, and the cell topples when he stands atop it....

Megatron: "Block people!!"
Megatron: "I am Megatron, leader of the evil Decepticons!" "L-listen, this world is made entirely of blocks!" "A-and you will give them all to me!"
Megatron: "Argh! Behold! I can take apart this tank..." "And form Mega-Megatron!"
Megatron: "Now, steal all the blocks!"
Optimus: "Not on my watch, Megatron!" "I, the Autobot leader of justice," "Optimus Prime will stop you!!"
Optimus: "We made a nice little jail cell from the blocks you collected."
Megatron: "Ah! My blocks..." "You- you'll pay for this!!"
Jack & Miko: "Thank you, Optimus Prime!"
Optimus: (laughing) "Oh no, it was nothing..."
Bumblebee: "Ahh! Optimus Prime!"
Megatron: "To be continued!"
- This story marks the debut of several elements that will continue as trends throughout the Webcomic:
- Fiction-only kreons based on both well-known and obscure characters from the history of the Transformers franchise appear as background characters and space-fillers. In this case, they are all based on human companions of the Autobots, from various cartoons and comics.
- A kreon (in this case, Megatron) uses special powers to turn a vehicle into a "Mega" version of himself. Unlike later appearances of this ability, Megatron can clearly be seen to do this by using the "Key to Vector Sigma" from the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon, a legendary tool capable of granting life to machines or mechanizing organic matter.
